Vanja Brunzell (1928-2010) was a Swedish textile artist, stage designer and fashion designer with shops in Stockholm, Uppsala and Osterbybruk. She designed unique clothes for her private customers, worked with historical costumes for many theater sets and created church textiles and other works for public and private institutions. Her design is characterized by historical accuracy, but at the same time playfulness, humor and excellent quality. Embroidery with elements of beads, leather and hemp are often present in her timeless fashion.
